Technical Summary

NFT Tokens

A non-fungible token is a unit of data stored on a blockchain. Each NFT is unique and its identity can be verified. Whenever a user mints an NFT work on the blockchain, a certain number of tokens will be generated. NFTs are often accompanied by numbers such as "1x1" or "1x100", which list the number of tokens issued when the NFT is minted, proving its scarcity. Once the token is issued, the above number cannot be changed, and the creator and creation date of the set of assets will also be permanently recorded in the NFT. Even if the artist casts the same NFT work in the future, the public can trace whether the NFT is the original or a post-production version. The data of NFT is completely public and irreversible, similar to the concept of version number. After NFTs are issued on public networks such as Ethereum, the public can check the above data on their own, thus significantly reducing the cost and difficulty of verifying the authenticity, originality, uniqueness and ownership of specific assets.

In our case, NFT technology allows us to create and store unique roles as NFT tokens themed around game stories and heroes. Each NFT token could be able to sell, gifted or exchanged to other players directly through the MonkeyBit platform, or a third-party NFT marketplace(upcoming).

The extra layer of security

MonkeyBit involves a variety of assets such that security is placed at a high priority. We believe that proven and audited technologies, as well as practical feasibility, can help us maximize security. MonkeyBit's platform and infrastructure are paired with existing, time-tested security solutions and practices.

To store and manage accounts, third-party wallets would be used such as MetaMask. In other words, All tokens that can be exchanged with on-chain tokens will be stored in third-party wallets. MonkeyBit minimizes the possibility of errors or vulnerabilities and currently uses open-source solutions such as auditing and verification. Users must verify all devices that have access to the account. Unverified devices cannot log into the account.

In addition, MonkeyBit will also cooperate with professional audit institutions to inspect our infrastructure and issue relevant professional reports to our players and ambassadors.
